How it started…

When my sister Maren was four, we found an old face painting kit in a drawer in our bathroom. We painted each other’s faces, and I was hooked. What started as a way to have fun with my little sister turned into a full-fledged love of face painting, and I’ve been practicing ever since.

The face behind the faces…

Hi! I’m Macy, a senior in high school here on Seattle’s Eastside. I’ve always loved art, and I love making people happy, so a face painting business felt like the perfect way to do both.

In my limited spare time, you’ll probably find me drawing, reading, dancing, playing video games, or baking.

Maren and me with the kit that started it all. She was my first customer. She didn’t pay. 😊

A few years of practice later. Same sister, much better result.

Why Galaxy?

I named my business after my wonderful dog, Galaxy, who sadly passed away in 2024 after eleven amazing years together. Naming my business after him is my way of keeping him a part of something I love.

My Favorite Part

The moment a kid sees their painted face for the first time! Their whole face lights up (sometimes literally, if there's glitter involved), and I love getting to be a part of that.
